New NBA Covid Protocols
Recently, it seems like every night an NBA game is getting canceled due to positive Covid tests or lack of players available to play. With cases throughout the country surging, the NBA has had to install even more protocols in order to try control some of the spread in the NBA circles. Here is a look at what Adam Silver and team have put in place:
Non-team guests in hotel rooms
Previously players were allowed to have two guests per room. Was that two per hour or two per night? Inquiring minds want to know. No longer will any guests be permitted in the players rooms. I have to think if Grandma comes over with cookies she is allowed to visit. Right Adam?!
Players and Staff Can't Leave Hotel for Non-Team Activities
This one seems like any easy one to get around. "Yo Bron, we have film study at Cheetah's." But seriously this seems a little over the top. I mean these guys are super responsible. Lou Williams was hungry dammit!
Pregame meetings in the locker room limited to 10 minutes.
So this means no showboating your mixtape and playing it for your boys. I guess you could get 3 NSYNC songs in real quick.
